When Death Comes Knocking
When death comes knocking, be quick to answer. Death may not be coming for you, or at least all of you. Death is never so far as you would have him be, except in a single moment called acceptance. Resisting death’s visit only increases your anxiety, while nearby the darkness lingers growing in strength and fury. Invite death into your house. Find a place for him to sit. Maybe even share a drink while listening to his terms for peace.
