Too Close Years (2 Years Apart)
Ya know I’ve never been,
but I have to go, to Westminster Abbey.
I want to see the Gothic architecture rise,
that surely meant many a man’s demise.
I want to hear the boom of the bells,
and the shrill sound of little girls’ yells.
I want to climb the towers in the sky,
and with mixed emotions utter a sigh.
But I also want to see the history of our age,
and implore your help as we turn the page.
For in the evening mist will we be free
to carve a new existence for you and me.
I really, really need to go to Westminster Abbey.
