Sonnet Blue

Bright and blue, so chilly too,
came to your door and evermore,
Stunned was I by your beauty through,
Emphatic praise I delight to pour.

A key to turn, then rubber burn.
Out on the sea, just you and me.
A laugh, a smile, the story turns,
then quietly I sip my tea.

An hour early, but nowhere to go.
Not sure of God but inspired by Fate,
we delight a common thread to sew.
How much longer can I wait?

The songs are magic and the timing right,
I think we could dance all damn night.
