Silver Sliver
I’m in a:
Screaming, silver sliver.
In my mouth a taste so bitter;
Through my bones I feel a shiver.
Heavy thoughts must be considered.
All around me are:
Sleepy, silent sailors
in a creepy, crowded cabin
trapped thick among the willows,
and the puffy, floating pillows.
I can see:
Sweet, serendipitous sleep.
If you can fly no need for feet.
Lost for them like a golden chance,
eternity only a weapon of religious trance
Can’t you hear the:
Sardonic, simple song
with no possibility of right or wrong?
Why can’t I enjoy their bliss?
Beneath me the engines hiss…
