She moves slowly on dry land.
I'm lying here and it is nearly 1 A.M. I'm almost fully awake 'cause I got two million things whiz-bangin' through my mind. I guess what has me most riled-up at this moment is the media followed closely by the human predatory nature which I believe is an experiment millions of years since gone bad. So with this defective DNA I settle into an evening of weightlifting and lusting for a girl who can't seem to find it in her genetic code to attack mine. Even worse is that my stuff is all over hers. And then some reason or logic circuit in my head 'clicks on' (cued by the trains outside my window). All this shorts my feelings, but I'm still a little miffed about the virginity thing, and that neither my friends nor anyone else seem to have any idea of the significance of love in a sexual encounter. Then when I finally clear my mind the late news show is all about violence as it pertains to rape. Now I'm petrified. Why are we such a sick species? [I fortify myself completely. Problem: with such definite boundaries, no one gets in.] Who do you like better, the locals or the popular leaders? I have turned this thing over and over, but still I am no wiser.
