Oh the serious man I’ve become! Often it’s hard for me to imagine the giggly baby I surely was, how the sound of my mother’s voice or the electric touch of a hand on my belly would draw a smile on my face. Should my life amount to anything more than a giggle and a smile, it won’t be because of distances traveled, riches accumulated, or praise sought and earned. Rather it will be because I never forgot the very joy of living as I tried to help others remember it too.
