The King from Queens
God love him. And God does love him, along with the many others who need his reassurances, awed as they are by the gilded buildings which bear his name. To me, there’s something endearing about this man. He’s starving for love, and I can think of no better metaphor for all of humankind today, than that of a starving man. His solitary journey has been a long and protected one. Now his heart has become too fragile for anyone else to handle. Let us pray for that fearsome day when it inevitably breaks, that only love rushes in to fill the void.
