No Pause, No Peace
Rest here...
I blink awake just as the sky opens up and the mania begins to fall like rain, watering that fertile feeling called fear, while fast becoming a twisting vine tugging at my mind and heart. There was a time when an eighty-year-old could walk across a road easily avoiding all the cars. But now the freeways are congested, with so little space between the endless streams of traffic. Why all this movement? And why am I drawn into it? I can hear no music calling. I can see no reason to join. The too obvious truth flashes before my eyes each day and stuns me with its brutal clarity: There can be no peace where there is no pause.
