Memories Come
Things I thought forgotten...
The room comes to silence, bringing a focus to my thinking and an order to the disorder I feel within this place. I agree to go deeper, but will soon return with my shadow in tow and needing to face all those voices I can’t seem to leave behind. Memory taps me on the shoulder, Remember that young man demanding your help, and threatening suicide? You nearly killed him yourself. I start to chuckle, but when I turn toward Memory he’s long gone, and so, too, the precise reasons for his coming.
