Grateful Table

Let’s share a meal...

God’s the greatest chef.
No one else can cook love just right.
Ours is either too hot or too cold,
too sweet or too bitter,
with way too much salt
or no seasoning at all.

Nonetheless,
our love is a grateful table
filled with all sorts of delights,
as well as the dishes
everyone likes to be served.

So let’s take a seat at God’s table.
There we’ll always be welcome
and the food will be just right.
May love make us a master chef
ready to serve all!
