My Boring Life
I hope my life looks boring because that’s what I want— to live each day simply, all the excitement neatly contained in my beating heart, and peacefully exchanged in the smiles I share. I don’t much care for drama beyond the day’s weather or the unexpected visitor. I get painfully distracted by unforeseen bills and angry traffic. I like life’s natural surprises which come through children and their first revelations. I’ll admit it, boring sometimes feels lonely. That’s when I know to seek a quiet place, where I can sit and cultivate my deeper belonging.
