Mood Swings
High moods, but slow steps, longing for the time when I know what’s next. Filled with joy and then comes rage, can’t see the stars until I’m on stage. Just when I think I’ve calmed myself down, my blood boils and my feet move the ground. My life is difficult ’cause I make it that way, still I can’t stand the fuckers that live for today. Shock surges when I analyze my feelings. If I acted on instinct I would bring down the buildings. Yet with control I suppress my primal urges, but what of those who can’t, all Earth’s human scourges? I am no different…I tell myself so; only that way can I make my little mind grow. Solemn, stern, stolid, all bone, if I don’t learn to love, I’ll die all alone.
