Leaning on Simple Truths
After going round and round, I’ve at last concluded it is better to simply be, rather than to sit in harsh judgment of everything. I’m not certain of anything anymore. But this hasn’t kept me from leaning on simple truths and reading into every unpredictability a fear of the rising tide. When I tell you I don’t know, I mean it. There’s nothing special about my words which may allow me to live forever. I often doubt my own poetry, but quickly start to relax when I feel its magic.
