Free at Dawn
The new day arrives with the dawn, and is now nudging its gray shoulder just above the hidden horizon, still not too sure of itself and whether it can push that great blanket of clouds aside. If this new day lacks confidence, how am I to convince myself to wake and seek relationship with everything and everyone I am certain to encounter before the night returns? But there is nothing for me to resist, and therefore no opposition arises. I’m wide awake now and reaching towards this day, even though it may show itself reluctant to get out of bed.
