Confessions
...are a place I call home.
I no longer care who wins what, how to get there, when the right time is, or the precise words to say at that right time. This is a poem about peace and the price of that peace, which I pay out gradually with my flesh, blood and bones. When I woke up yesterday there was nothing more I could do to deny my own pain and suffering. And that’s when I knew denying is what I’ve been doing all along. So I’ve made my confession, and these words are now part of my permanent record. Let my next breath be the beginning of a ritual, which brings me back home and restores my wholeness in God and this Universe.
