I don’t truly feel everything will be alright. Yet I believe my experience, which tells me it will be so. My dog is ailing, work seems pointless, politics is poisoning all of us, and summer has only begun. I’m too frightened to take this day off, in order to check my pulse and avoid doing anything productive. When each moment becomes shorter and shorter, and every breath more consequential, then at last, living becomes less about knowing and more about being.
