Become Weightlessness

Take great solace
in the fact this world rests
on the shoulders
of no man or woman.

There is nothing he must do,
nothing she must do.
Yet some purposeful action
will soon be demanded by their souls.

Even those content to lay in the shade
watching life float past
on a million clouds,
are not wasted by the master plan.

The miser who toils mindlessly
to store gold in some faraway vault
will certainly one day default
on the mortgage paid for his soul.

This weight will always
become weightlessness.
The dream of life
is to live right now.
