Unbinding Prayer
Summoning my inner peace.
This morning, a prayer
to loosen the knots
I hold deep inside
which bind me
to all those things
I cannot control.
As this day unfolds
let my breath grow deeper,
and my patience be nurtured,
by a natural wisdom
which slackens the tension,
unbinding my heart.
My soul dwells within,
touched by a light
at the source of my being.
From this mystical tabernacle
comes the song of songs
welcoming each new day.
