This is Becoming

I know God.
As ridiculous as this may sound,
the very admission
showers me in humility,
forever bringing tears to my eyes.

I share God with you
as you share God with me.
This is not an imposition
but a revelation of love,
the mutual exchange of our being.

I can hardly believe these words
coming from my pen -
flowing through my heart.
Who am I?
This is my Becoming;
the emptying out of me
and the filling up with love,
so that I may join in that larger life
from which I was never apart.

Don’t listen to me
because I am telling you,
or because I found these words.
Discover this Truth within you.
Let go and love.
Once you understand God as love,
nothing else will suffice.
