By day I keep my fear my cravings at bay. Fatigue, nightfall, and the constant tug of loneliness prey upon my peace of mind. Preparing for bed it is all I can do to keep my demons contained. I close my eyes my heart trembles as I invite the pain. Move closer so I can see you. I inhale deeply hoping to take in the love that is God. If I sleep I will see my fears anew.
