Shit Is Going Haywire

Something is deeply wrong.

Something is deeply wrong
	and she knows it.

Something is deeply wrong
	so he resists it.

Words get in the way
of instinctual knowing.
But perennial wisdom
doesn’t require enlightenment.

What you and I think,
based on our precious learning,
will always be precise,
will always be quantifiable
and easily catalogued.

Let us turn now
and talk about what we know,
– gained through difficult experience,
	what’s undecipherable in our DNA,
and can only be awakened in darkness.

Let us find a way forward
through our collective uncertainty.

Shit is going haywire.
