Rocky Top
I’ve been to this hotel before, several times in fact. It’s on the way to places I want to go, and on the way to people I want to see. There’s something about it that just feels right. During this visit I notice a painting staring at me across my room. In it is an older man handsomely dressed, like a country gentleman with white hat and bolo tie. He might be a preacher. He might be a farmer. But to me he’s neither. I recognize that face. He’s the man I’ve seen before greeting people in the lobby as they gather for breakfast. He’s very kind, has a reassuring voice, and is genuinely personable in the way he engages folks. He truly loves people, and it shows. I’m absolutely certain it must be his good energy that keeps bringing me back.
