Mystical Journey
Go beyond thought.
You’re right!
Who’s gonna read
this silly poem
telling you
there’s no choice
in just who
you’ll someday become?
Still it’s true.
This decision
was made ages ago
by someone
more of the something
of which you
are only a small part.
So you’d better pack
some silly poems
and anything else you can fit
into your spiritual satchel.
You’re gonna need ‘em
for the mystical journey
to discover your soul.
