Let Yourself Be Overwhelmed
The danger for all of us
is in becoming lost,
separated
from the spirits we are.
Our incarnation
in blood and bone
is a sensual pathway
through space and time
towards an eternity so infinite
we struggle to comprehend our being,
while too often failing to realize
when we embrace each other,
we grab hold of God.
The dictionary is full of words
with which we build elaborate metaphors,
and yet there is nothing indefinable about love.
Let yourself be overwhelmed.
