Lazy Fall Days
The early fall days roll by, even the slow, lazy ones. Cars clog the roads to the beach. There’s a line of people waiting outside the restaurant. I can hear a lot of giggling while sharable photos are taken. These are those times when everything seems just as it should be, just as it is in those stories which are found in our favorite books and movies. Every so often I pause along my way - but only for a moment, to notice the waves pulling at each tiny grain of sand. Through watching the repetition of the tide it dawns on me we are that grain of sand. Forces we cannot see and cannot comprehend rationally are pulling us this way and that, creating our world, creating our universe with infinite love, one lazy fall day at a time.
