In the Middle of This Nowhere
This morning I woke fatigued and wide awake to my life half-lived. I am standing at the turn, the back nine stretched out before me, yet the distance unknowable through the trees. If I present some order, at this inflection point of middle age, it is to conceal the internal disorder, my feeling lost and afraid, and of not knowing the way forward. I’d be curious to hear your story, what you’ve learned along your way. I’m sure we’d both agree there are lots of salesman out there, but they’re offering all the wrong things.
