Hey Now Now

I may say it better tomorrow,
but the space,
the opportunity,
and the time,
are gathered here,
now.

So I sit in the now
imagining the way the moon
traces a silvery path
along the top of the water.

I might call this
the Way to God,
for it would require great faith
of any woman or man
to take that first slippery step
and risk falling into
what may be lurking beneath.

God,
the moon,
and the water,
are not trying to deceive you.
Rather they come together
to invite you deeper
into the mystery.
