Art of Being
This morning I choose to remember the tenderness between animals, and among all living things. I am a man who knows much, but through the merciful passage of time knows he knows much less than the creator of all life. Now past the summit of my doing, I practice the art of being through the act of giving myself over to kindness, prayer and meditation. What could be worse than growing old in a world afraid of dying? Please help me remember my ability to love, and please demand I use it.
