Some days I feel more vulnerable to a tiny pin-prick than to a huge broadside. Handling bad news or a small emergency is easier for me to comprehend than responding to an ambiguous email or some other small slight. My mind makes mountains of molehills, but my heart can part the ocean and slow my spinning head just enough for me to hear the wind whisper, it’ll all be okay.
