Grasping
I wake today to find my big questions are not so much rhetorical as they are difficult to answer. Every now and again, I catch just a glimpse behind that veil of what we call reality. Then I am stunned, literally gasping for breath, unable to reconcile the nakedness of my life with the illusion I am living. “What’s wrong?” you say. “Maybe the questions are much simpler.” Of course you’re right, the questions are simple, and there are no lasting answers, only the darkness and the light in between the beauty and nakedness, along with an indifferent love, and finally eternal peace.
