Go in Love
At some point
you will die,
but only after
a thousand tiny deaths.
So I urge you to die with love,
the kind which welcomes tomorrow,
and the next day,
and the next.
Do not linger long at the table
like a piece of decomposing meat,
or a miser guarding your precious pearls.
The world is full of pearls!
Remember all you knew
before you could even speak.
Any time wasted
worrying about what you lost,
trying to get it back,
belies the fact
more is always going
out your back door.
Go in love
along with it.
