Somewhere, a very long time ago, a man justified his lust for battle and his desire for immortality, by offering his violent death to a woman. She must’ve been amused. Still it set a terrible precedent, and very quickly, men the world over were offering their lives for no good reason. If a man really wants love, from a woman or anyone else, he must offer his life in service to those she already truly loves.
