Dry Up

Dry up.
That sounds right.
Just dry up,
pull yourself together.
Put on some music.
Do away with the chatter.
Maybe sing a song,
but don’t sing it into the mirror.
Let all the voices surrounding you
sing to you of love.

Right now,
there’s no decision more pressing
than your commitment to love.
From that single yes
all else will flow.
If something too big
or too small comes along,
just agree to it,
and let God rectify.
