Dream Weaver
The old me
is still in me,
and along for the ride
in whatever new adventure
I may choose,
or may be chosen for me
by the conniving author
of that heavy book
called Life.
Dreams,
the dream world,
the dream weavers,
are all shamans,
reconstructing this life,
My Life,
from all the scattered pieces,
and skillfully placing them
in a bizarre narrative
for me to decipher.
As I woke this morning,
I stood in a shallow bay
staring at a ship marked Titanic
anchored just off the shore…
Oh clever Sandman,
are you urging me deeper?
