Do less and don’t worry about it.
This will not make you less,
even though it may diminish your anxiety
while offering you the abundance of the moment;
some peace and rest for your battle-weary soul.
This world of men will tap a vein and bleed you dry
if you try to conquer it with sheer will,
and to take from it what it cannot not offer.
What you want more than anything
requires less effort than a single breath.
Just ask a tree who grows tall and deep,
letting time and place satisfy both need and want.
