Crazy
I can absorb a lot of crazy.
Like Holden Caulfield catching in the rye,
most mornings you’ll find me near Dayton,
breathing in the sudden high pressure
of the crazy new day,
and breathing out warm misty air,
which if sold in a bottle
could be marketed as Serenity.
I will continue to do
whatever I possibly can do
for my fellow man and woman.
However I’ve no business sitting here,
or even standing on a street corner,
trying to corral the crazy.
Crazy needs to blow itself out,
like the wind.
