Climb the Mountain
I hope it is okay not to climb the mountain today. I’d like to sit below and not be part of the movement. Whether I climb or sit the sun will move over me. Without any significant effort I will be changed all the same. When I become lost in worry and motion, I forget I am both the source and destination - that my heartbeat is the sound of a great engine, which turns Earth to and from this day. What I learn by doing is balanced by my being. The hand that is held shakes the holder’s hand. The hugger hugs while being embraced. And so by sitting calmly I fill my desire to climb again tomorrow.
