Awakening to Consciousness
Through narrow eyes I saw just a slice of the world. After taking in my fill I pronounced it either good or bad, all depending on the color, the texture, and the content of my mood. There I lived in the truth, both absolute and indisputable. I was the emperor of my singularity. This was the world of just one person— judge, jury and executioner. Then came the day when I begrudgingly entered into deeper relationship with others. Through the pain of accepting humility came my very profound perceptual and sensory awakening. Now I see a Universe far beyond my comprehension, where love fills all the dark spaces.
