(Angst) Where do you want to go today?
Angst-driven outta time,
sick of workin' for nickel and dime.
All fed up and no place to run,
his mind on the end his hand on the gun.
Thinkin' 'bout the deeper things,
temper flares and mood swings.
Life ain't 'bout the money and drugs,
sleepin' with women and cheerin' thugs.
And it ain't 'bout church and a home out beyond.
Don't give me that shit it's time to go on.
Somebody said, and I stooped to listen,
told me that life can be sweet for the kissin'.
The lesson it stuck and grew from within.
ignorance is bliss, mine is ruin.
Emotions are powerful...I feel them all.
Hope springs eternal until the fall.
Believe I won't, or can't, find the meaning.
Statue of Liberty soon will be leaning.
Life outta control nothing to stop it,
bullshit aside who will profit?
Those at the top fall from grace;
those that know shoot into space.
Joy feelin', pain cast aside,
gettin' on the train, headin' outside,
can't wait to see what's happenin' tomorrow,
there's still a chance I may end all the sorrow.
