I don’t smoke. Never did. But I do drink, though I don’t enjoy being drunk, or even light-headed. One drink relaxes, and even delights, once I surrender to its potent recipe. Yet my body won’t forget there’s neither wine nor beer sufficient to fill the hole in a drunkard’s soul.
