A Prayer
A prayer for the weary,
the wounded,
the fearful,
the powerless,
the sick,
and the unaware.
A prayer for the mighty,
the rich,
the educated,
the lucky,
the healthy,
and the vigilant.
A prayer for knowing,
a prayer for surrender,
a prayer for union,
and a prayer for love...
Let us not overthink our lives
lest we provoke our fears,
lest we adopt the fears of others.
Let us learn to behold the beauty of life.
Allow us to be conquered.
Allow us to be confounded.
Allow us to be the very love which surrounds us.
