Yahweh

God speaks without words.
So I listen with my heart as well as my ears.
This body is like a divine tuning fork.

The cold wind is a verb,
directing me towards warmth and love.
Nouns are the familiar names,
of both the people and places I love.
While touching you is an adjective,
every descriptor a superlative.

Today, as at the very end of my life,
my being and the Universe’s becoming,
all comes down to one unspeakable word...

Breathe in: Yah
Breathe out: Weh
