The World of Man
How frightening it is to feel the world of man closing in around you! The artificial world, constructed by machines and lubricated in dollars, feeds our consumption while consuming our souls. The world as it really is fills us with joy and love. It compels us by texture, color and diversity. It explodes with sympathy, offering us the gift of empathy, the kind one life gives to another. From my privileged station I could not comprehend the weight of the machine bearing down upon me, until the day I collapsed into the arms of God, who showed me who I truly am: a unique manifestation of love amidst an endless ocean of lovers.
