The blush is off the rose, though it is still a rose as much as it ever was. So sweet to our noses, the red petals bleed out their life before falling to the ground. The rose knows what we’ve only just learned: do not hold on to your life too tightly, you will certainly get pricked, or even worse you will reject imperfect love. Yes, the fading rose knows, that the beautiful love which gave you life wants you to give your life in return.
