The Mutability of Everything
There on the shelf is a picture of you - you at a time more certain, certainly younger and oblivious to the mutability of everything. Then you were afraid of touching death, lest your hands turn green. Funny now how death’s gray hands are reaching out for you. No matter what this world has become within your own precious mind, take pictures and make some more memories. Feel the warmth of the sun, the strength it conjures in your body to get up and move, to climb and dance. Touch everything wanting to be touched, and at last allow yourself to be touched and transformed.
