The Dance of Love
What is it with those brown eyes beyond whose dark borders I cannot see? And what of those chiseled eyebrows stolen from Guy Fawkes and made feminine? I focus on your luscious red lips always at the ready to part into smile. I can see the love God poured into your soul, spilling out in your desire to connect. You say almost nothing, still your silence grabs me by the lapels. I reach for your shoulders and you fall effortlessly into my arms. Here we are in naked embrace. The sun and wind have marked us. Time is taking her toll as God circles overhead. This is our moment, the fiery collision which created the Universe, the salty tears which filled the oceans, the dance, the dance, the dance, of love.
