Technology - it requires both the energy and enthusiasm of youth. Without these, old men must find other ways to spend their money in a shameless search for immortality. A youth spent tinkering and creating is not wasted, so long as the effort builds a better you by growing your heart, while shrinking your desire to see the Universe as a machine to be mastered. Why sell what can be taken from you in an instant? Give yourself away, give yourself to the sun and moon, to the valley where you live, to your friends and family, and to the species you are.
