Taken
I am taken, seriously bitten, by the slight gravel in your voice, the sound of humility made real by authenticity and a deeper intuition, which like a guiding star draws you to others, so you can light their way as God has lit your own. I want to walk with you for as long as you’ll have me. Maybe we can sit together, holding hands and telling stories with our fingers. Or better yet, we might share kisses, just as we have shared stories, and in this very simple act fulfill the nature of our existence, which is to become more fully God’s love. I offer you my heart with great joy. My blood is your blood. Whatever blood we shall spill, may it nourish the Earth, creating space within and without the size of this Universe.
