...you’ll never regret it.

You can light a fuse by listening,
burn down a house
by changing your mind.
You might even save a planet
by letting go of your ideas
and allowing your soul
to speak its truth.

Just because you have money,
a few words, maybe some scars,
and the right kind of anything,
this gives you no special status
in the one true universe.

You know the bargain.
It keeps you awake at night,
setting your mind ablaze
when you brush up against
the pointless confinements
within our meritocracy.

So set yourself free
by doing nothing but
allowing the grace
of your liberated soul
to occupy that space
you’re forever trying
to conquer and defend.
