Samsara

What does it mean
to say I have an appointment in Samsara?
Should I go
	to my rendezvous with death?
Should I stay
	and hope to live forever?

Such a rude awakening
to be startled from my dream!

Too many questions too soon
is just so much noise.

The soul knows
how easily we scare.

But what if all along,
we’ve traveled through life
unaware of the beings
trekking right beside us?

Well into the dark night,
I found myself in such a state
where nothing frightened me more
than going on this journey alone.

Maybe that was the dawn of something,
the very reason for the first Big Bang.

Recognizing the unifying one within
the infinite connection of all beings
changes everything.
